A working first build, on the house.

You describe it. I build you a working first version — free — before you pay a cent.

ClickClack is a one-person studio making custom web tools for small businesses. Tell me the one job you want handled. I'll build a real, clickable version on sample data. You only pay when you want it live with your real data, your login, and your domain.

How it works

Three steps. No meetings, no contracts up front.

  1. Step one

Tell me the one job you want handled.

A paragraph is enough. Skip the requirements doc. The narrower it is, the better the first build.

  2. Step two

I build a working first version on sample data.

Real interface, real interactions — usually within a few days. Nothing to install. You get a link.

  3. Step three

Try it. If you want it for real, that's the paid part.

The free version runs on my infrastructure with sample data. It's not operational. Paying is what turns it into your tool: your real data, your login, your domain, the backend that keeps it running. The honesty is the whole point — you see the thing before you buy the thing.

Example builds

Real demos. Sample data. Click around.

These are first builds I've actually built. Each one runs on made-up data so you can poke at it without setup. Yours would start similarly — then shaped to your job.

What's free, what's paid

The free part is the proof. The paid part is what makes it yours.

Free first build

See it work.

Built by me, on my time, on my servers. So you can try it before deciding.

  • A clickable first build of the one job you described
  • Sample data, on my infrastructure
  • A shareable link — no install, no signup
  • Honest feedback if I think you don't need custom software
  • Zero obligation. If it's not right, walk away.
Paid — make it yours

Make it real.

The same tool, but operational: your data, your login, your domain.

  • Your real data, your accounts, your logins
  • Your domain (or a clean subdomain)
  • The backend that keeps it running
  • Iteration as the work shifts shape
  • A real working tool that belongs to you

No subscriptions, no surprise tiers. Pricing is a flat quote based on what you actually want made live — discussed openly once the first build is in front of you.

An honest aside

Not everything needs custom software.

Sometimes a spreadsheet, a Google Form, or a clear one-page guide does the job better than anything I could build you. If that's the case, I'll say so — and if it helps, I can put together a short, tailored guide for your situation instead. No charge, no pitch.

The goal is your problem solved, not my invoice sent.

Describe what you need

Tell me the one thing you want handled.

A paragraph is plenty. I'll come back with a first build you can click around — usually within a few days, always free, no strings.

Note: this intake chat is a working preview. Live replies switch on once the studio connects it — until then, the email option below always reaches me.
